The season is from April to September.

The majority of Division 1, 2 and 3 matches are played at 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon.

Where a club has two home matches on the same Saturday the more junior match is played at 10.30am. If a match is postponed it is played on the following Tuesday at 6.30pm.

Club colours or whites must be worn for all matches played on a Saturday. All such matches with the exception of IBA Cup matches are played to 18 ends.

Division 4 and 5 matches are played at 6.30pm on Monday evenings.

Before the second Monday in May and after the first Monday in August matches commence at 6.00pm to allow for loss of light. If a match is postponed it is played on the following Tuesday at 6.30pm.

Division 6 matches are played at 6.30pm on Wednesday evenings.

There is no dress code for mid week matches but most clubs wear there club tops. All division 4, 5, and 6 matches are played to 16 ends.
